Tony Amatullo built a long career in television, beginning as an associate producer on popular 1980s series including Fame and Miami Vice. He later moved into executive roles, serving as a production executive at Warner Bros., where he oversaw development and production of numerous projects. In 2013, Amatullo returned to hands‑on producing as the executive producer of the Reelz reality series Beverly Hills Pawn.

Throughout his decades in the industry, Amatullo was recognized for his ability to blend creative storytelling with practical production management, contributing to the success of both scripted dramas and reality programming. He was respected by colleagues for his professionalism and mentorship of emerging talent.

Amatullo died on May 3, 2026, in New York City after a battle with acute myeloid leukemia. He was 76 years old.
