Steven Miller (1996–2026) played college football at Arizona State University, appearing in 49 games between 2015 and 2019. After graduating, he began his coaching career as a graduate assistant at the University of Louisiana and later at the University of Florida, where he gained experience in strength and conditioning. In 2023, Miller returned to his alma mater as an assistant strength coach for the Sun Devils, where he was praised for his dedication and positive influence on players.

During his tenure, Miller was known for fostering a supportive environment and empowering athletes, earning respect from teammates and coaches alike. He frequently spoke about his passion for the sport and his commitment to helping players achieve peak performance. Miller also publicly discussed his personal challenges, including living with epilepsy, and remained an advocate for health awareness within the athletic community.

Miller's sudden death on April 15, 2026, following a medical incident, was mourned by the Arizona State football program and the broader sports community.
