Simoni Bunilangi was a professional rugby player from Fiji who built his career in Japan's top professional rugby union competition, League One. He attended Daito Bunka University in Japan before entering the professional ranks.

Bunilangi began his professional career with Tokyo SG in Division 1 of League One. He later transferred to Kyushu Electric Power Kyuden Voltex in Division 2 for the current season at the time of his death.

He died on August 7, 2026, at age 25, after collapsing during a team practice session in Fukuoka amid high temperatures of approximately 35 degrees Celsius. He was hospitalized with symptoms consistent with severe heat stroke.
