Particulars

She served as a vice president at advertising agency Fattal & Collins, where she helped bring venture capital financing to American Cybercast, the pioneering online network behind the acclaimed web series The Spot. Her efforts secured an initial $7 million investment round led by Intel that helped launch the early internet entertainment venture in the mid-1990s.

Herman also held executive positions at E! Entertainment Television and at TCI, the cable company led by John Malone, as well as at Access Entertainment Network. Her career was cut short by a car accident. She died at the age of 71.
