Scott Macalister Bryce was an American actor renowned for his role as Craig Montgomery on the CBS daytime drama 'As the World Turns,' which he portrayed from 1982 to 2008. Born on January 6, 1958, in New York City, Bryce was the son of daytime actor Ed Bryce. He grew up in Westport, Connecticut, and attended Staples High School, where he participated in student theater. His early professional stage experience included a performance on Broadway in 'Caesar & Cleopatra' alongside Rex Harrison. Bryce received two Daytime Emmy nominations for his work on 'As the World Turns' and was involved in memorable storylines, including a romantic arc with Meg Ryan's character. Beyond daytime television, he made appearances on prime-time series such as 'Murphy Brown,' 'Law & Order: Special Victims Unit,' 'Blue Bloods,' and 'Chicago P.D.,' with his final credited role in a 2024 episode of 'Law & Order.'
