Sara Ogwen Williams was a well‑known Welsh television presenter and producer who worked primarily for S4C, the Welsh-language broadcaster. She began her public career in 1997 during the Welsh independence referendum, gaining attention for a memorable Welsh dragon costume that epitomised the "Cool Cymru" era. Over the years she presented and produced a range of programmes, including the series Y Sgubor Flodau and Bywyd a Bwyd, and contributed to numerous other S4C productions.

Born into a media family—her mother was actress and presenter Jenny Ogwen and her father the broadcaster Euryn Ogwen Williams—Sara followed a path in broadcasting alongside her brother Rhodri Williams, a well‑known BBC and Al Jazeera presenter. She was celebrated for her creativity, energy, and ability to bring out the best in colleagues and guests. Her work earned her respect within the Welsh television community and a loyal audience.

Sara battled cancer for some time and passed away at the age of 55, leaving behind two children, Soffia and Gabriel. Tributes poured in from fellow presenters, producers, and the S4C leadership, highlighting her lasting impact on Welsh media and the affection with which she was regarded by peers and viewers alike.
