Sahara Ray was a model and swimsuit designer whose career took off in the mid-2010s. In 2014 she founded her self-titled swimwear label, Sahara Ray Swim, building a following on social media and the runway. She was also known for headline-making, though unconfirmed, romances with Cody Simpson in 2015 and Justin Bieber in 2016. In January 2026 she welcomed a baby girl, Snow, and documented her early months of motherhood online. Ray had faced a serious health scare in 2024, when she was diagnosed with Guillain-Barré syndrome after being hit by a car. She died Oct. 18, 2026, at age 34, surrounded by family.
