Particulars
According to Profil, Rudolfine Steindling transferred the Austrian Novum balance in 1991 from a Länderbank (later Bank Austria) branch account to a BFZ Swiss affiliate of Bank Austria and then back to other Austrian accounts, a move that Profil said was likely abetted by CEOs René Alfons Haiden and his successor Gerhard Randa.
Rudolfine Steindling then went to the bank at least 51 times and drew the entire amount from the account in cash, placing it in suitcases in 1992.
