Ravindra Kishore Sinha, widely known as RK Sinha, was an Indian entrepreneur and politician who founded SIS (Security and Intelligence Services), building it from Patna into a globally recognised private security company that created large-scale employment in the sector. He was also a veteran leader of the Bharatiya Janata Party, active in the organisation since its formative years, and served as a member of the Rajya Sabha, the upper house of India's parliament. Beyond business and politics, he was known for social work and contributions to journalism and the media world, and was regarded as a guiding figure for the Chitransh community. He died at his residence in Noida at the age of 75 after a brief illness, prompting tributes from BJP leaders, Union ministers and the RSS.
