Departures of note

Raúl Triguero was a Spanish journalist who spent years working for the Mediaset group, most notably as a reporter on the long-running Telecinco gossip and entertainment program Sálvame. At the time of his death he worked for the production company Mandarina, which produces the Friday-night show ¡De viernes!, hosted by Santi Acosta. He was traveling to Andalusia on assignment to interview Amador Mohedano about the participation of his former partner Rosa Benito in Supervivientes: All Stars when the AVE train to Seville crashed at Urda in Toledo. He was among at least 69 people killed in the accident. His death was confirmed by Mandarina, which remembered him as a wonderful colleague and a great person.
