Paul Flack was born on 18 June 1971 in Enfield, England. He was the older brother of Caroline Flack, the well-known British television presenter who hosted shows such as Love Island and The X Factor before her death by suicide in February 2020. Paul lived much of his life out of the public spotlight but occasionally appeared in media related to his sister’s legacy, including a 2021 documentary about her life and death. He shared a close bond with his mother, Christine Flack, and spoke openly about the impact of his sister's passing. In his final years, Paul remained active on social media, where he posted tributes to Caroline. He died on 24 June 2026, just days after his 55th birthday, after being found unresponsive at his home in Norwich and was later pronounced dead at Norfolk and Norwich Hospital. An inquest into his death was opened, with further investigations pending at the time of reporting.
