Oyo Nyimba Kabamba Iguru Rukidi IV was the Omukama (king) of the Tooro Kingdom in western Uganda, ascending the throne in 1995 at just three years old after the sudden death of his father, King Olimi III. His coronation made him the world's youngest reigning monarch, a distinction that drew international attention throughout his childhood and youth and led to his being dubbed the "boy king."
