Orit Galili-Zucker was an Israeli journalist, political consultant, and academic. She began her career as a parliamentary assistant to Knesset member Ora Namir and as a lecture coordinator for the Histadrut, then joined the Schocken publishing network. In 1983 she became a news desk editor at the Haaretz newspaper, where she worked as a writer and senior editor until 1998, also briefly reporting for Channel 1's Yoman program.

In 2002 she earned a doctorate from Bar-Ilan University for a dissertation comparing new political leadership in the West and Israel, examining figures such as Clinton, Blair, Schröder, Netanyahu, Barak, and Ramon. She lectured at Bar-Ilan and Tel Aviv universities, chaired the political science committee of the Ministry of Education, and served as academic director of an executive master's program in political leadership at Tel Aviv University.

Galili-Zucker worked across the Israeli political spectrum, serving as strategic advisor to the Labor Party and Ehud Barak in the 2009 elections and heading Benjamin Netanyahu's political communications team from 2011 to 2013. From 2014 she ran an independent strategic communications consulting firm conducting public-opinion research. She died in 2026 after a two-year battle with cancer.
