Nickolas Glennie-Smith was an English film score composer, conductor and keyboardist born in London on 3 October 1951. He began his musical career in the mid-1970s, playing keyboards with the band Wally and later recording and touring with Cliff Richard in the 1980s. He also worked with Roger Waters, providing keyboard overdubbing on the 1987 album Radio K.A.O.S. and performing at The Wall Live in Berlin in 1990.

Glennie-Smith became a frequent collaborator with Hans Zimmer, contributing to scores including The Rock, Point of No Return and Children of Glory. He composed the scores for Home Alone 3, The Man in the Iron Mask, We Were Soldiers, Secretariat, The Lion King II: Simba's Pride and A Sound of Thunder, among others.

As part of Zimmer's Remote Control Productions, he conducted music for the Transformers film series, X-Men: First Class and Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides, and served as Zimmer's accompanist on Man of Steel. He also served as master composer for the French theme park Le Puy du Fou. He died on 16 August 2026 at the age of 74.
