Mushtaq Khan was born around 1970 and began his acting career in the early 1990s, appearing in a wide range of Hindi and Telugu films. He became a familiar face in Bollywood for his comic timing and supporting characters, featuring in movies such as Hum Hain Rahi Pyar Ke (1993), Jodi No.1 (2001) and the popular comedy Welcome (2007).
