Miki Peled was one of Israel's most prominent entertainment producers and impresarios, shaping the country's popular music and stage culture for decades. Born in Romania in 1939, he immigrated to Israel in 1948 and began his career in the entertainment world during the 1960s, first as a musician and then as a manager and producer through his company Solan Hafakot.

Peled founded the Chassidic Song Festival in 1969 and, in 1981, conceived the Festigal, the annual Hanukkah children's musical that became a beloved Israeli tradition and one of the country's largest cultural events. He also produced the Kazablan revival, the children's show Metuk Shel Festival, and numerous concerts, records, and tours, and managed leading Israeli artists including Shlomo Artzi, Rivka Zohar, Yehoram Gaon, and Shlomi Shabat.

In 2023 he received a lifetime achievement award from ACUM and the Israeli culture and stage production industry. Peled died in 2026 at the age of 87.
