Marcos Raffou was a Brazilian social columnist based in Aracaju, Sergipe. Born in São Paulo, he moved to Sergipe, where he first worked as a hairdresser for artists and public authorities before becoming a social columnist. In that role he helped animate the state's cultural and social scene, organizing balls and creating the 'Gente Gentíssima' prize, a trophy recognizing personalities, companies and press professionals. Raffou died on 15 October 2026 at age 67 while hospitalized at the Hospital de Urgências de Sergipe (Huse), where he was being treated for cancer.
