Kiwari Daiyu was a Japanese haiku poet born in 1938 in Nishinomiya, Hyogo Prefecture. He studied haiku under the poet Akao Toshi and developed a distinctive voice in the traditional form.

While running a bookstore, Kiwari composed haiku about the Hanshin Tigers baseball team, publishing them under the pen name Kosui in the sports newspaper Sports Nippon. His work celebrating the team earned him a devoted following among haiku enthusiasts and Tigers fans alike.

He published a collection of his work titled "Kosui Haiku Collection." He died on August 30, 2026, at the age of 87.
