Khadijah Farrakhan, born Betsy Ross in 1935, was the wife of Louis Farrakhan, the leader of the Nation of Islam. She converted to Islam alongside her husband in 1955 and became a prominent figure within the organization, earning the title "First Lady of the Nation of Islam". Together, they had nine children. Khadijah was an active participant in the Nation's events, including speaking at the Million Woman March in 1997. She remained a steadfast supporter of her husband's ministry and the Nation of Islam throughout her life. She passed away on June 27, 2026, at the age of 90.
