John Grover was an English film editor whose career spanned several decades of major British and international cinema. He worked on a half-dozen James Bond pictures, as well as Stanley Kubrick's 2001: A Space Odyssey, David Lean's Doctor Zhivago, and Jim Henson's Labyrinth, among many other films. Grover was a longtime board member of British Film Editors, the professional association for film editors in the United Kingdom. His editing work contributed to some of the most celebrated and enduring films of the twentieth century. He died on September 28, 2026, at the age of 87.
