Departures of note

Jennifer Eckhart was a media professional who worked as an associate producer at Fox Business from 2013 to 2020, producing programs including The Claman Countdown and interviews with prominent business figures. Earlier in her career she worked as an entertainment anchor for WUFT-TV, a PBS affiliate in Gainesville, and as a correspondent for ESPN Radio, where she hosted the 2011 ESPN College Football Awards. She earned a bachelor's degree in telecommunications news from the University of Florida's College of Journalism and Communications.

Around the time of her departure from Fox, Eckhart filed a lawsuit against former Fox News anchor Ed Henry and Fox News, alleging sexual assault and rape and claiming the network promoted Henry despite complaints of inappropriate behavior. She spoke publicly about the experience on CBS This Morning, and the case drew national attention before reaching a confidential settlement in 2025.

After leaving Fox, Eckhart launched the Reinvented podcast, which featured inspirational stories of reinvention from prominent figures in business, sports, and entertainment. She died at her home in Martin County, Florida, in September 2026 at age 36; authorities ruled her death a suicide.
