Jean Lodge was a British actress who worked in film and television during the mid-20th century. She appeared opposite Alan Ladd in the 1954 adventure film 'The Black Knight' and alongside Kenneth More in 'Brandy for the Parson'. Lodge was also known as the mother of actor Charles Shaughnessy, who gained fame for his role as Maxwell Sheffield in the television series 'The Nanny'. She maintained a presence in the entertainment community throughout her long life.
