Particulars

Javier Íñigo was a Spanish trumpeter from Tudela (Navarra) best known as a member of the band Huracán Ambulante. The group frequently accompanied Enrique Bunbury, leader of Héroes del Silencio, on his tours, and Íñigo was widely regarded as essential to the band's distinctive sound blending Mediterranean, Latin and New Orleans jazz influences. He was affectionately known as "Panchito." In 2025 he took part in the Huracán Ambulante Tour, the reunion of Bunbury's band twenty years after its original run, which performed at the Príncipe Felipe pavilion in Zaragoza in September of that year. Bunbury announced his death, describing Íñigo as a unique and exceptional human being whose imprint on the band's sound and brotherhood was indispensable.
