Particulars

Ilenia Bazzacco was an Italian food personality who came to public attention as a contestant on the first edition of MasterChef Italia in 2011, where she finished in third place. Her television appearance launched a career in cooking and food communication that she built over the following years.

For seven years she hosted a cooking program on a local broadcaster, and later established herself as a content creator, food stylist, photographer, and collaborator with several companies in the food sector. Her best-known project was the blog and social channels "Timo e Vaniglia," which gathered over 72,000 followers on Instagram, where she shared recipes, photography, and content devoted to cooking, particularly the traditions of the Veneto region.

Bazzacco was remembered by her husband for her tireless curiosity, her authentic passion for her territory, and her love of Treviso radicchio, whose history and culinary uses she enjoyed telling. Despite her public profile, she never gave up her simpler identity as a wife, mother, and, as she liked to call herself, a homemaker. She died at age 54 after battling a tumor for nearly three years, leaving her husband Marco Montanino and her twin sons Riccardo and Andrea.
