Helinho Pimentel was a Brazilian businessman, radio host, and cultural producer who devoted more than five decades to the music and culture of Curitiba. He founded Rádio Mundo Livre FM, a station that became a fixture of the city's music scene, and was instrumental in the idealization of the Pedreira Paulo Leminski, a landmark open-air cultural venue carved from a former quarry.

Beyond these institutions, Pimentel organized major concerts and festivals in the Paraná capital and created the Rua da Música, a cultural street inaugurated about a year before his death. His work helped shape Curitiba's contemporary cultural identity and supported generations of local musicians and artists.

Pimentel died on 30 August 2026 at age 70 in Curitiba, following a hospitalization for pneumonia. In recognition of his contribution to the city's culture, the mayor of Curitiba declared official mourning. He was survived by his wife, four children, and four grandchildren.
