Giane Alves was a Brazilian model from Bahia who began her career around 2015 after being discovered at a gas station in São Paulo by a modeling scout. She went on to walk the runway at the São Paulo and New York fashion weeks and worked with brands including Riachuelo, Arezzo and Shultz, appearing in fashion editorials for Marie Claire and Vogue Brasil. She divided her working life between trips to São Paulo and abroad, later moving to the interior of Bahia for a better quality of life. She lived in Condeúba with her husband and two children, and died at 32 after suffering a sudden medical emergency while accompanying her newborn son at a medical appointment.
