Francesc Garrido was a Spanish actor from Barcelona with a long career spanning cinema, television, and theatre. He trained at Barcelona's Institut del Teatre and furthered his studies at the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art, debuting on stage in 1990 before moving into television and film in the late 1990s.
He appeared in notable Spanish and Catalan films including Smoking Room, The Sea Inside, Alatriste, 25 Carat, and Falling Star. On television he took leading roles in the acclaimed series Sé quién eres as the amnesiac lawyer Juan Elías, and in La novia gitana as Buendía, along with prominent parts in Gran Reserva, The Time in Between, Isabel, Jaguar, and Los hombres de Paco.
Garrido was recognized as a versatile and respected interpreter across genres, working steadily in Spanish productions for more than two decades. He died at the age of 56 from a heart problem.
