Eren Kaşıkçı was a Turkish chef and television personality who gained national recognition after winning the Turkish edition of MasterChef in 2021. His victory on the popular cooking competition launched his public career and established him as a notable figure in Turkey's culinary scene.

Following his MasterChef win, Kaşıkçı opened his own restaurant, Kızıl Sakal Sandwich & Burger, in Istanbul. He had plans to expand the business to a second location and returned to television for a MasterChef All Stars series, further cementing his profile as a chef and media personality.

Kaşıkçı was found dead at his home in Istanbul on July 29, 2026, at the age of 37. His death prompted an investigation by Turkish police, with initial assessments suggesting a possible heart attack. He was remembered by MasterChef Turkey judges for his kindness and sincerity.
