Edward Lozzi was born in Hawthorne, New Jersey, and attended the University of Tennessee where he played football before moving into business and public relations. He later founded Edward Lozzi & Associates in Beverly Hills in 1981, building a career that spanned more than five decades.

Through his firm, Lozzi represented a roster of high‑profile clients, including Debbie Reynolds, Shirley Jones, Jon Voight, Lana Clarkson, Zsa Zsa Gabor, Buzz Aldrin, and many other actors, musicians, and entertainers. He also handled corporate and legal publicity for notable cases such as the early tobacco litigations, the DuPont silicone breast‑implant lawsuits, and the Marcos regime trials.

In addition to his PR work, Lozzi served as a political consultant, White House Press Advance staffer, and on‑air commentator for outlets like Fox News and CNN. He contributed articles to The Huffington Post and was frequently consulted by media on celebrity and legal matters.

Lozzi died on April 30, 2026, at the age of 77, leaving behind a legacy as one of Hollywood’s most enduring publicists.
