Eduardo 'El Polaco' was an Argentine content creator and animal-welfare activist widely recognized in his country for his work rescuing mistreated animals. He founded El Montecito, a shelter dedicated to caring for rescued and mistreated animals, which became the central focus of his public work. His death prompted an outpouring of grief from followers, and associates confirmed that the shelter would continue operating under the care of people close to him.

Eduardo died on 27 August 2026 at the age of 49 following a motorcycle accident in which he lost control of his vehicle at a roundabout, suffering severe injuries.
