Particulars

Dwayne Quamina was an American professional bodybuilder who competed in the sport's top-tier circuit. His most notable career result came in 2018, when he placed tenth in the 212 division at Mr. Olympia, the premier competition in professional bodybuilding. The 212 division, for athletes weighing up to 212 pounds, is one of the most traditional categories in the sport.

Before dedicating himself to bodybuilding, Quamina served in the United States Armed Forces, and the discipline he gained during his military service was often linked to his rigorous training routine. He announced his retirement from competition in 2020 but returned to the stage in 2025, taking third place at the Chicago Pro during his comeback season.

Days before his death, Quamina competed in the Lenda Murray Atlanta Pro in the 212 category, finishing sixth. He died at age 40 in August 2026, with the cause not disclosed by his family. He is survived by his wife, Leah Jerez.
