David Wilcock was born on March 8, 1973, in Rotterdam, New York. He graduated from SUNY New Paltz in 1995 with a degree in psychology and briefly worked at a psychiatric hospital before turning to the paranormal field.

Wilcock authored several books on UFOs, consciousness, and ancient mysteries, several of which became New York Times best‑sellers. He frequently appeared on the History Channel’s Ancient Aliens and co‑hosted the Gaia series Cosmic Disclosures, while also producing documentary films such as Above Majestic and The Cosmic Secret.

From 2010 onward, he built a substantial YouTube following, sharing his theories on science, spirituality, and alleged extraterrestrial contact. By 2023 he had moved to Colorado and served as director of advanced technology at Stavatti Aerospace.

Wilcock died by self‑inflicted gunshot on April 20, 2026, in Boulder County, Colorado, at age 53, shortly after posting his final livestream.
