Dave McGinnis was an American football coach who led the Arizona Cardinals and later assisted the Tennessee Titans, dying at age 74.

Dave McGinnis was born on August 7, 1951, in Texas and played defensive back at Texas Christian University, graduating in 1973 with a business management degree. He began his coaching career at the collegiate level, serving on staffs at TCU, Missouri, Indiana State, and Kansas State before moving to the NFL.
In the NFL, McGinnis spent a decade as the linebackers coach for the Chicago Bears, then became the defensive coordinator for the Arizona Cardinals in 1996. He was promoted to head coach of the Cardinals in 2000, a position he held through the 2003 season. Afterward, he joined the Tennessee Titans as assistant head coach and linebackers coach in 2004.
Following his coaching tenure, McGinnis transitioned to broadcasting, becoming the color analyst for the Tennessee Titans Radio Network in 2017. He remained involved with the team until his death on April 13, 2026, in Nashville at the age of 74.
