Cledson da Silva Ribeiro was a 34-year-old resident of Águas Lindas de Goiás, in the metropolitan region of Brasília, Brazil. He worked in the area and was involved in local amateur football, where he was remembered by friends and family after his death.

On September 14, 2026, Ribeiro was riding a motorcycle in the Jardim Pinheiros neighborhood when he was struck by a bus operated by União Transporte Brasília during a curve. Security camera footage captured the moment of the impact.

He was taken to an emergency care unit conscious but with fractures to his right arm and chest and other injuries, and later died from his wounds. The bus driver gave a statement to police and was released. His family publicly criticized the bus company for not offering support after the accident.
