Cheryl Hall was a British actress who built a substantial television career from the early 1970s. She is best remembered for playing Shirley Johnson in the BBC sitcom Citizen Smith (1977-1979), opposite her then-husband Robert Lindsay, and for a recurring role as Sadie in the long-running police drama The Bill (1984-1988). Her other credits included appearances in On the Buses, Doctor Who (Carnival of Monsters), Bless This House, Sykes, Within These Walls, Lucky Feller, and EastEnders, as well as film roles in The Magnificent Seven Deadly Sins and Three for All.
