Carlos Espinosa de los Monteros y Bernaldo de Quirós, 4th Marquess of Valtierra, was a prominent Spanish executive and civil servant. Born in Madrid in 1944, he studied law at the Complutense University and business administration at ICADE, later earning an MBA at Northwestern University. He joined the Corps of Commercial Technicians of the State in 1969 and held senior roles in the public administration, including vice-president of the Instituto Nacional de Industria and chairman of Iberia and Aviaco in the mid-1980s.
