Carlos Alberto Solari, widely known by his stage name Indio Solari, was born on January 17, 1949, in Argentina. He became one of the most iconic figures in Argentine rock as the lead singer and driving force behind the band Patricio Rey y sus Redonditos de Ricota. Formed in the mid-1970s, the band became a cornerstone of Argentine rock culture, known for its poetic lyrics, theatrical performances, and massive popularity.
