Betty Mama was the beloved mama of the Osaka show pub 'Betty's Mayonnaise', a fixture of the city's entertainment scene for decades. She was a close friend and ally of the manzai duo High Heel, particularly Momoko, who remembered her as family and shared memories of travels, family celebrations, and their long friendship after her death.

Betty Mama appeared on television across the Kansai region, often alongside the late Ryutaro Kamioka, and was widely cherished as the mama of one of Osaka's famous show pubs. She also released a CD produced by Keisuke Kuwata, and through a playful exchange with him about being a 'half of man and woman', the term 'newhalf' is said to have been born, making her a kind of originator of that word.
