Angela Wales Kirgo was an Australian entertainment industry executive who dedicated her career to supporting writers and storytellers. She served as the longtime Executive Director of the Writers Guild Foundation, where she played a pivotal role in advancing the organization's mission to preserve and celebrate the craft of writing for screen and television.

During her tenure, Kirgo oversaw the creation and growth of the Shavelson-Webb Library, a significant archival resource for writers, researchers, and entertainment industry professionals. Her work extended across two continents, reflecting her commitment to fostering storytelling communities both in her native Australia and in the United States.
