Andrea Tempestini was an Italian journalist who served as deputy editor and digital editor of Libero, a national daily newspaper, overseeing the digital edition of liberoquotidiano.it. He had been a professional journalist since 2010. Earlier in his career he worked for Il Sole 24 Ore, Italy's leading financial daily, and for Rai Corporation, the international arm of the Italian public broadcaster Rai. He was found dead at his home in Milan in late September 2026 at the age of 40; the initial investigation found no signs pointing to third-party involvement.
