Departures of note

On 1 June 2017, a man masquerading as a French journalist from Le Monde opened fire on Amina Okueva and her husband while they were in their car on Kyrylivska Street in Kyiv, severely injuring her husband.

Okueva fired four rounds at the attacker; police detained the suspect, initially identifying him as Ukrainian citizen Aleksander Dakar, later identified as Arthur Abdulayevich Denisultanov, who was later released in a prisoner exchange to the Donetsk People's Republic on 29 December 2019.
