Departures of note

Amber Siyavus was an American reality television personality best known as a houseguest on the eighth season of CBS's Big Brother in 2007. She survived several weeks in the house, was evicted as the eighth houseguest, and served on the season's jury that selected the winner.

During the season she drew national attention after making remarks on the show's live feeds that were widely condemned as anti-Semitic, prompting a statement from CBS and criticism from the Anti-Defamation League. She also appeared on the CBS game show Power of 10 after winning a special trip out of the house during a competition.

Siyavus died on Friday, October 9, 2026, at age 46; her cause and manner of death were not immediately disclosed.
